?Who gave you your name

Answer: As far as I have heard, my mom gave this name. although, there was a controversy between my parents, my mom won the game and gave me the name she liked

Answer: My father wanted to name me after his uncle Shahram, while my mom wanted to name me after Shias First Imam Ali. At the end my mom gave me the name Ali after the first shias Imam

?Does your name have any particular (or, special) meaning

Answer: although my name doesn’t have a grand meaning, it means star in English as you know my name is Setare which means star in English

Answer: Because mostly our names are taken from other languages it is very difficult to find the meaning. At the same time I have never thought about the meaning of my  name but I think it means clean

?Do you like your name

Answer: To be honest, when I was young I really hated my name, because all my homies, classmates and even friends laughed at me for my name, but now as an adult I am even fond of my name

Answer: sure I do love my name. I think my name is really great. Another reason why I really like my name is that it is monosyllabic, also my name is easy to memorize so people will remember me easily

? In your country, do people feel that their name is very important

Answer: oh that’s a general question, to some extent I think name is important for Iranian people, because as they are children, if they have funny names they will be mocked at school, so parents really give a tough thought to give their children a name

Answer: I have never thought about it before, but when I give it a deeper thought, I think yes name is important, especially for the new generation, because name shows your identity even your religion and your name gives a lot of information about the person and his family background

? Would you like to change your name

Answer: personally, I think there is nothing wrong with my name and to some extent I like it, consequently I will keep it

Answer: at the beginning I have to say that I really hate my name, because it is really funny, so I am about to change my name
