برای گفتن این اصطلاح شاید راه های زیادی وجود دارد اما دو راه متداول ان را در زیر یاد میگیریم. این را باید در نظر بگیریم هرچیزی را که هر جا دیدیم و در دیکشنری هم چک کردیم و معنا همان بود لزوما درست نیست. زبان چیزیست قابل تغییر و باید خود را هم گام با زبان روز پیش برد بنا بر ان اگر در اینترنت سرچ کردیم و جملاتی پیدا کردیم و با معنای این عبارت هم خوانی داشت لزومن آن چیزی نیست که در کشور انگلیسی زبان استفاده شود. حتی این را هم باید در نظر بگیریم که اصطلاحی که در انگلیسی استفاده میشود شاید در آمریکا اصلا استفاده نشود یا در کانادا چیز دیگری بگویند. بنا بر این هر گردی گردو نیست.
گاهی اتفاق افتاده اصطلاحی را در فضای مجازی آموزش دادیم و دوستان و عزیزان کامنت گذشتن که فلان اصطلاح هم می شود. باید ذکر کنم که ممکن است برای بیان یک مفهوم راه هایی زیادی را در اینترنت و یا جای دیگر پیدا کنیم، باید مطمین شویم که در حال حاضر آیا در کشور انگلیسی زبان ان عبارت استفاده می شود یا خیر که عمدتا آنچه که در کتاب های آموزشی و یا اینترنت با سرچ پیدا میکنیم این ویژگی را ندارد یا بسیار قدیمی هستند که اگر استفاده کنیم فکر میکنند از پشت کوه آمدیم یا اصلا یه چیز من در آوردیست که فردی گفته و بقیه هم پیرو او تکرار کردند. اما تمام اصطلاحاتی که ما در اختیار شما میگذاریم قابل اعتماد هستند و قابل پیگیری.

This is an expression which was derived in 1960s-70s which recommends you not to do something risky or dangerous unless you accept the consequences. Also there is TV show called Barreta in which the music sings a song using the expression Don’t do the crime, if you can’t do the time.
if you do something wrong you must bear the consequences of that directly or indirectly
